In to and Home From The Hansford Center:
Each day, Monday through Friday, The Center offers transportation for seniors from their homes, or senior housing units, to the Center and home again after lunch. To be included on the list for transport, we ask that you call the Center before 9 am each day you wish to come to the Center. We make a special run to Villager Apartments, Knollview Village, and Riverview Towers at 11 am each weekday. The Center office staff reports to work at 7:30 am. To schedule a ride to the Center, please call 304-722-4621 between 7:30 am and 9:00 am.
On Monday and Tuesday afternoons, we offer transportation to local shopping such as Kmart and Kroger's. For this transportation, you must come in to the Center on the regular morning pick up bus, either at 9 am, or the 11 am senior housing bus. Shopping trips then leave the Center after lunch for local shopping. If you live in a senior housing unit as listed above, we will pick up at those housing units after lunch. Unfortunately, we do not have the staff or vehicles to pick up from individual homes for the store trips only.
